Stage Right, Go Left

A classic! Cat on a Hot Tin Roof with Paul Newman and Liz Taylor. Mom told me this morning she recently watched, or re-watched really, the movie. She said, “Did you know they only have a few wardrobe changes and the whole movie takes place over a couple of days.” It made me think if you can create a fantastic movie which spans two days and two outfits, don’t we all have the same opportunity?

Self: When is it my turn to play the leading role in my movie?

Universe: Today, of course.

This self-conversation happens each day in some form when the alarm goes off, or before the alarm or while you are talking to your mom on the way to work. Either way, I believe we do have a choice each day to be the star of your movie and today is that day.

Who do you want to be?

What to wear to work?

What part of your history do you tap into?

What mannerisms will you have or strengthen?

What is the end goal for today only?

Don’t over think it – acknowledge today is your day, smile and glide through…..like you’re signing autographs.
